Sunday School for children Pre-K – 8th grade

After the Time for Young Disciples in our worship service, children are welcome to remain in the service or to attend Sunday School. This year First Pres has begun to use the curriculum ‘Whirl’ by Sparkhouse.” One of the goals that we have for our Children’s Ministry is that their Sunday school lessons follow the lectionary.  We want FPCG families to be able to connect with each- other and their children every Sunday about the current readings.

‘Whirl” will make it easy for kids to make connections between Sunday school and the church year. Extend the curriculum at home with learner leaflets that feature weekly opportunities to learn about how kids can put faith into action.

Our curriculum and classes are taught by our staff and adult volunteers. Childcare is provided for children ages 0-3 from 9:45 am – 11:45 am.
